Going the Extra Mile for Our Customers

At Owens, we take the safety of our customers very seriously. When a customer in her 80’s called with no heat in her home, we immediately sprung into action.

After examining the unit, our Home Comfort technician diagnosed a defective part. A thorough search for the part by our service coordinator at nearby supply houses came up fruitless. The nearest available was in Duluth – 160 miles away! Without hesitation, one of our commercial project managers jumped in his truck and headed out to Duluth. A few hours later with part in hand, he met our tech at the home, the repair was completed and the heat back on before the evening, and none too soon as the house temp had dropped close to 60 degrees.

Many other companies would have told the customer they’d return the next day. Many other companies would have left an 80-year-old woman without heat in freezing temperatures. That’s why we aren’t other companies. We are Owens Companies and we have been around for 60 years for a reason. It’s a team effort and we promise to go the extra mile for you every time.
